Natalie A. Fields, MPH, has over 14 years of varied experience championing program development and implementation within non-profit organizations and higher education institutions.

Fields’ public health area of focus includes

maternal and child health, community engagement, and lactation and breastfeeding support. She has

led several impactful public health projects, community advisory boards, and professional association presentations.

Fields serves as a Population Health Community Advisory Board Member for maternal health patients at Grady Hospital and a previous Community Advisory Board Member for the Center for Children’s Environmental Health, which studies factors that may lead to an increase in preterm births in African-American women and babies.

In 2018, Fields was recognized for her commitment to program excellence after receiving the Excellence in Innovation Award from the Emory School of Nursing and in 2020 she was nominated for the inaugural Outstanding Women of Color Award presented by the Women of Color Initiative Atlanta Collaborative in Higher Education.
