In the furtherance of System of Care values and principles, the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is sponsoring training for organizations, individuals, and families, who provide or receive behavioral health services and supports. Resilient Georgia, in partnership with the Center for Interrelational Science and Pediatrics, will provide the training.
System of Care is defined as a spectrum of effective, community-based services and supports for children and youth with mental health or other challenges and their families, that is organized into a coordinated network, builds meaningful partnerships with families and youth, and addresses their cultural and linguistic needs, in order to help them to function better at home, in school, in the community, and throughout life.
Bridges to Therapy is a behavioral health integration approach designed to address the need for improved access to behavioral health services.
The Community Resiliency Model is an evidence-informed wellness intervention that helps people expand inner sources of wellbeing.
